So, you want to make money from home do you? I don’t blame you. Many people do.
You probably have two questions stuck in your head right now.
#1 “Can I really make money from home working online?”
#2 “What do I do to make money online?”
Now there’s no doubt that companies and individuals can make money online. Do any internet search and you see ads all the time from companies and people trying to sell this, that, and the other. If making money online was simply a scam or a pipe dream, then why would all these companies and individuals pay for internet advertising? Google makes nearly 2 billion dollars per month from advertising revenue…..it has to be working.
So, we both know that people advertise online and sell their product or service. That’s nothing new. So, when someone asks the question, “How do I make money online working from home?”, they are not usually imagining themselves starting some major company that requires a ton of upfront cost and years of planning. People, at least in my opinion, are looking for the following:
- an easy, low cost (even free) method, to quickly generate money online without having to sell a product or service.
- a process that’s easy to learn even for someone with limited computer knowledge
- something that can be done in one’s spare time
- something that will generate results fairly quickly
- and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, something that will create passive income
If that’s what you’re thinking of, then read on. That will be the thrust of this article.
Ok, so let me start off my telling you that it is very possible to make money online from home without having to invest any money in a product or service to sell to people. Now, if that seems a bit too-good-to-be-true or counter-intuitive, you’re not alone in thinking so. Common sense tells us that people are only going to pay us money in exchange for a good or service. While this is very true, you need to re-adjust your thinking about internet marketing for a bit.
Let me create an example….
Let’s say you go to the mall to buy a toy for your 5 year old nephew. You enter the toy store, and while you may or may not know exactly what you are going to buy him, you are there with the intention of making a purchase. Now, while you may look and compare a few toys and even ask the store clerk a few questions, your buying decision will be made probably within a few short minutes. You make a purchase, you received a toy, and the store made a profit.
Now, that same scenario can apply online as well, however, research shows that motivation for most people who search online is not to immediately make a purchase. Rather, people use the internet for research purposes which means they are looking for information. This is critical to understand. People are wanting, more than anything, helpful, specific, rich information. So, success in make money online from home for free, can be summed up in one word: WRITING.
So, having a website or blog that is filled with helpful, rich content about a subject that people are hungry for information on, is where you start. Now, that opens the door to other questions like:

“Once I have my site, how do I get people to my site?”
