Best, Free, No Scam, Work From Home Jobs For Stay-At-Home Moms

by admin on December 6, 2011

As a mother, you’ve got plenty of responsibilities like caring for your children, keeping the house clean, cooking meals, etc.  so either you are looking for stay at home jobs for moms either because your household needs extra income, or despite all the other responsibilities you have, you have the burning desire to work.  In either case, you’ve found yourself online looking for work that can be done in the comfort of your own home.  Now, with all the scams out there, you’re probably leery, to say the least, about the so-called, legitimate online jobs for stay home moms, but I commend you for at least being willing to consider that it is possible to make money from home.

The truth is, it’s very possible, and it’s fairly easy to get started.  While there are lots of opportunities for stay at home moms to make money working from home, you’ll want to assess what it is that you would enjoy doing and how much time you really have at your disposal.  Are you looking for full-time work or just part-time work?  What hours of the day are you free to work?  Questions like these are what you are going to need to ask yourself up front in order to narrow down the opportunities that will work for you.  Below are what I would consider the top five best jobs for stay-at-home moms that are not scams.

More and more companies are hiring people to work from home instead of stuffing them in call centers.  As a customer service rep, you can take calls for major companies like 1-800-FLOWERS  or American Airlines right from the comfort of your own home.  In some cases, they may actually provide you with a computer and other supplies you’ll need.

If you enjoy writing, this can be a great way to earn some extra cash.  Companies like pay writers to submit articles on a variety of topics.  The best part is, as long as you meet your quota you can write whenever you want.

Do you consider yourself to have the gift of administration?  If so, your task-oriented and organizational skills can come in, not only handy, but profitable.  It might take some networking, but there are many companies that use virtual assistants to manage calendars, generate reports, take calls, etc.

Like taking photos?  Well, guess what?  People like buying them.  If you have a knack for photography, you might look into sites like where you can publish your work for people to buy.  It’s just another cool way to turn a hobby into a money making opportunity.

Yes, it’s true.  You can make money from your own website or blog.  Most people online are looking for information.  If you have knowledge or expertise in an area that people are hungry for information on, you can profit from those people that come to your site or blog.  For more information on this topic, check out this article.
